Applied Syncopation

Applied Syncopation is a comprehensive approach in the development of using rhythms with the bass and snare against several Hi-Hat ostinatos. Practice Pads
Most top practice pad manufacturers have switched from using real rubber and are now using synthetic rubber to reduce their costs, which does not give you the true drumhead feel.
